Gee, surgery takes it out of you. I've spent the last week and a bit recovering from surgery. I wasn't expecting to be drained by it as much as I was, or to experience this much pain. But I've survived.

Sad thing is I recieved 3 or 4 bunches of flowers, some really cool ones, and I just couldn't muster the energy to take pictures of them. I think I took a few, but I haven't had a look at them yet.

So sometime this week I'll have to buy some flowers and get into shooting some pictures, before I start work.

Speaking of work, I have a 3 day induction training thing that I have to go to. Its going to be boring as all hell but my boss was really impressed that I said I'd go along, so its nice to know that I still have ass-kissing skills down pat. The cool thing is that he's giving me those three days as annual leave, so I can take days off or time off when I need it. Thats cool.

I was considering going out to the war memorial to shoot some pictures, not sure if thats morbid or dis-respectful or not. Maybe I will, maybe I won't have the time for it. I need to find something to do though, but its just so damn hot.

Oh well, I'll find something!
